Some of the ways I work

[Many creative people can relate. We are collective thinkers after all]:

- I do not like to start with blank white paper. In fact, It threatens me with its sterility.
- I only work fast when I shoot photos, because I enjoy the hunt and nature of the process.
- Since I started working with video, a single image seems too static.
- After I'm done with a piece I let go of it. It's rare that I’m attached to a piece of work.
- When asked as to what I'm trying to say with a specific piece, I play a guessing game. It’s usually the viewer who tells me the nature of the work. At that point I either agree, or disagree.
- If I don't finish a piece, it wasn't meant to be.
- If an idea never starts, it wasn't meant to be.
- I am not an intellectual, nor have I ever wanted to be one when it comes to my work.
- I’m not here to prove anything.
- Humor one of the best ways to connect to others.
- The only fancy things I include in my work are the titles.
